VeloMobile Wireless VoIP Service Unveiled by Velofone

UK Customers can now use wireless service as well as netowrk service with their mobile phones. Velofone, UK based internet telephony provider, has unveiled a wireless based VoIP protocol called VeloMobile at the Wirelss event in London on May 24th.

Velofone has offered the service pre-installed in VeloMobile handsets, which allows customers to insert their current SIM card.

Then, when users come within range of a desginated WiFi hotspot their phone will switch over to an IP based service automatically.

Customers can use any Windows mobile phone to tap into this service, which is primarily based on Cicero Networks’ softphone client, CiceroPhone.
