When Will VoIP Reach the Mass Market?
A recent report from the Pew Internet & American Life Project states that 31% of Americans are “Elite” tech users, whereas only 20% are “Middle of the Road” users and a whopping 49% are “Low Tech” or do not use technology in their daily lives.
Since Web 2.0 allowed people to utilize a wide range of communication and information technology as a platform with which to express themselves, little has been discerned in the way of statistics about who is using what.
With the goal of discovering what usage patterns are happening, the Pew Internet & American Life Project set out to survey America about their technology habits.
